Аннотация:

The relevance of the article is due to the introduction of the institute of inheritance fund into the Russian legislation, which is a transformation of the institution of trust. The article pays attention to the history of development, the current state and requirements for the creation of trusts, the legal status of the inheritance fund and legislative gaps. Trust and hereditary fund have similar structures, but the focus of the trust is wider than that of the hereditance fund. It seems that the introduction of personal funds will bring these institutions as close as possible.
