The article analyzes the elements of a criminal's personality through the prism of the biosocial theory of personality. The author criticizes the shortcomings of the existing theories of the criminal’s personality, substantiating the presence of biological factors in the formation of the criminal’s personality. The author comes to the conclusion that the further development of criminological science is impossible without the application of the biosocial theory of personality.
