Аннотация:

The article examines the study of the relationship between the MAOA-L genotype and the risk of antisocial and aggressive behavior. Studies have shown that the MAOA-L genotype  is associated with antisocial and aggressive behavior in Caucasian males but only when participants had experienced severe childhood maltreatment. Within the framework of the biosocial theory of the identity of the criminal, this trait can be considered as a characteristic of the identity of the perpetrator. Thus, it is proposed to use data on this genotype, sex and racial-population identity of the perpetrator, his life and upbringing in childhood as information about the personality of the criminal when qualifying a number of violent crimes.
