CONDITIONS FOR FILING CLASS ACTIONS IN RUSSIAN AND US CIVIL PROCEEDINGS
 
The article is devoted to the institution of class actions in Russian law, which appeared as a result of the procedural reform of 2019. The need to identify significant criteria that a group must meet to protect its rights using the mechanism of class actions is substantiated. The author singles out and considers the main universal criteria that are found in the regulation of class actions in different jurisdictions.
