Аннотация:

the article deals with the history of creation of the institute of plenipotentiary representatives of the President of the Russian Federation in the regions, normative-legal base of their activity. On the basis of analysis of legislation wide powers and main functions of these officials are revealed, practical importance of activity of plenipotentiaries and necessity of improvement of normative-legal regulation of the Russian Federation President authorized representatives in federal districts is shown.
